Summary
The Act tells an agency to study some impacts of removing certain dams. The Act prohibits a person from removing a certain type of dam until after the study. (Flesch Readability Score: 60.8). Directs the Water Resources Department to study the socioeconomic impacts of the removal of the Klamath River dams. Directs the department to submit a report on the study to the interim committees of the Legislative Assembly related to natural resources not later than September 15, 2026. Prohibits a person from removing a certain type of dam until after the report is submitted. Takes effect on the 91st day following adjournment sine die.
