Summary
Permits counties, cities and districts to adopt alternative forms of voting for county, city and district elections. Permits counties, cities and districts to adopt alternative forms of voting for county, city and district elections. Requires Secretary of State to establish program that allows county, city or district to apply for, and receive, grant to defray cost of purchasing computers, voting machines and vote tally systems that are compatible with alternative systems of voting. Declares emergency, effective July 1, 2021.
