Summary
Provides that, beginning on 30th day following date of election held pursuant to Act and ending on 60th day following date of election, City of Damascus shall satisfy all debts, obligations, liabilities and expenses of city and transfer moneys and all of city's other property to Clackamas County. Provides that City of Damascus shall surrender its charter, disincorporate and cease to exist. Requires city to expend city funds to satisfy all outstanding legal debts and obligations and to return excess moneys to ad valorem property taxpayers of city. Requires city to convey all real and personal property to Clackamas County.] Requires City of Damascus, on 61st day following date of election, to surrender its charter, disincorporate and cease to exist. Refers Act to people of City of Damascus for their approval or rejection at next regular general election held throughout this state], by a majority of voters voting on question, at special election held on same date as next primary election.
