Summary

Modifies public records law exemption from required disclosure of certain personal information of public employees and public body volunteers to remove mandated disclosure upon showing that public interest would require disclosure in particular instance. Requires that certain personal information of home care workers, operators of child care facilities, exempt family child care providers ,] and operators of adult foster homes and those who have submitted voluntary information in confidence to a public body] be maintained confidentially and not disclosed pursuant to public records request. Exempts Judicial Department and Department of Transportation. Requires that certain personal information submitted in confidence and not otherwise required to be disclosed be maintained confidentially and not disclosed pursuant to a public records request. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
