Summary

Directs Health Licensing Office to issue lactation consultant, lactation educator and lactation peer support provider licenses to qualified applicants. Requires lactation professionals to complete cultural competency and trauma-informed care continuing education courses. Imposes civil penalty for violation of licensure requirements. Becomes operative January 1, 2018. Declares emergency, effective on passage.
