| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate John and Jane Moyer on being presented with the 2012 FirstLight HomeCare Franchisee of the Year Award at the International Franchise Association Public Affairs Conference; and |
| WHEREAS, This prestigious distinction is an honor of which John and Jane Moyer can be justly proud. The owners of four FirstLight HomeCare franchises in Southwest Ohio, they have expended countless hours and seemingly inexhaustible energy in the interest of others by providing in-home, non-medical care to disabled people and seniors so that they can remain independent for as long as possible, and it is through the support of individuals such as they that our state has remained responsive to the needs of its residents; and |
| WHEREAS, Demonstrating a sincere concern for the future of the area, John and Jane Moyer have given back to the community far more than they have gleaned, and their selfless endeavors stand as the hallmark of responsible citizenship. They have demonstrated unwavering determination, as well as astute business acumen, and it is only fitting that they be recognized for the significant contributions they have made to the State of Ohio; and |
| WHEREAS, Ohio's economic prosperity depends on entrepreneurs such as John and Jane Moyer to provide services to the citizens of our state and nation. It is through the dedicated efforts of individuals such as these, who are willing to invest in their communities, that our nation has grown and prospered; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 129th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend John and Jane Moyer on earning the FirstLight HomeCare Franchisee of the Year Award and salute them as two of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to John and Jane Moyer. |
