| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Larry A. Davis on his retirement as president of the Ohio Trucking Association, January 10, 2014; and |
| WHEREAS, Larry Davis is to be commended for his exemplary leadership of the Ohio Trucking Association over the past thirteen years. Serving Ohio's trucking industry for twenty-two years, he has managed an array of responsibilities with confidence and skill, and it is no surprise that his keen intellect, sound judgment, and insightful perspective have won him such a host of admirers; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout his career, Larry Davis has clearly shown the potential of each person to have a positive effect on the world around him. Whether occupying center stage or playing a key role in the wings, he has always made his influential presence felt, and he has distinguished himself as a conscientious and responsible Ohioan. He is truly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unsurpassed efforts and deep commitment of diligent people such as Larry Davis that the State of Ohio continues to prosper and remains a pleasant place in which to live. In all of his endeavors, he has striven to serve his fellow citizens to the best of his ability, and we applaud him on his fine work; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, honor Larry A. Davis on the occasion of his retirement and extend best wishes for the years to come; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Larry A. Davis. |
