| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Bernard J. Scott on being inducted into the 2013 Ohio Agricultural Hall of Fame; and |
| WHEREAS, An agricultural education teacher retired from Otsego High School, Bernard Scott is a remarkable individual, and this prestigious distinction is a fitting tribute to him for his invaluable contributions to agriculture in our state. Among his endeavors, he currently serves as chairman of the Wood Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors, and he helped establish the Agricultural Incubator Foundation and the Penta Career Center. We commend him as a responsible and hard-working Ohioan; and |
| WHEREAS, Bernard Scott is truly deserving of high praise, for he has combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic leader in the Tontogany community. Through his unfaltering devotion to service, he has set a record of achievement that is worthy of emulation, and we applaud him on his fine efforts; and |
| WHEREAS, Agriculture is the backbone of our country, and it is truly encouraging to know that the future of Ohio agriculture lies, to a large extent, in the capable hands of conscientious people such as Bernard Scott. We are certain that in the years to come, he will continue to display the same unwavering commitment to excellence for which he has become known; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Bernard J. Scott on his recent induction and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
