BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That sections 3318.34 and 3318.341 of the Revised | 7 |
Code be enacted to read as follows: | 8 |
Sec. 3318.34. (A) Not later than July 1, 2014, the Ohio | 9 |
school facilities commission shall develop a procedure for | 10 |
awarding information technology infrastructure grants. All public | 11 |
primary and secondary schools and school districts that are | 12 |
eligible to receive assistance under this chapter shall be | 13 |
eligible to apply for these grants. | 14 |
(B) Grants awarded under this section shall be paid from the | 15 |
school technology enhancement fund created under section 3318.341 | 16 |
of the Revised Code. | 17 |
Sec. 3318.341. The school technology enhancement fund is | 18 |
hereby created in the state treasury. The fund shall consist of | 19 |
money appropriated for the purpose of funding information | 20 |
technology infrastructure grants awarded under section 3318.34 of | 21 |
the Revised Code. | 22 |
