A BILL

To require the State Board of Education to recommend

performance standards for dropout programs

operated by school districts.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. Not later than one year after the effective date	4
of this section, the State Board of Education shall make	5
recommendations to the General Assembly for performance standards	6
for dropout prevention and recovery programs operated by school	7
districts.	8
