A RESOLUTION
Honoring Nick Corba as a 2013 Division I State Wrestling Champion.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Nick Corba on winning the 2013 Division I State Wrestling Championship in the 170-pound weight class; and

       WHEREAS,  Nick Corba's outstanding ability and spirited drive, as well as his quickness and tenacity, have distinguished him as a superior athlete. A senior at Beavercreek High School, he secured this year's Division I State Championship title in the 170-pound weight class, and it is no surprise that he has won so many admirers; and 

       WHEREAS,  Few sports embody the spirit of individual accomplishment more than wrestling. Champion wrestlers such as Nick Corba exemplify the qualities necessary for excellence in any sport, including integrity, agility, conditioning, and focus. Throughout long hours of practice and competition, he demonstrated the talent and motivation that are the hallmarks of a true athlete; and

       WHEREAS,  Nick Corba has combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish himself as a truly exceptional young athlete. His enthusiastic involvement in wrestling has enabled him to learn much about dedication, discipline, and leadership, and in the process, his exceptional prowess has made his coach, Gary Wise, his school, and his family and friends very proud; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Nick Corba on his personal success and salute him as a fine Ohioan; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Nick Corba.
