WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Richard Hwang on his outstanding performance at the 2014 National Peace Essay Contest for Ohio, sponsored by the United States Institute of Peace; and |
WHEREAS, A creative and talented individual, Richard Hwang has demonstrated exemplary initiative, enthusiasm, and perseverance in developing and sharing his skills, and consequently, his entry, entitled "The Interrelationship of Government, Security, and Validity in the Development of the Legitimate Post-Conflict State," won this year's National Peace Essay Contest for Ohio. He is a student at Athens High School, and his unwavering commitment to excellence has earned him a reputation as a truly gifted local writer; and |
WHEREAS, With self-discipline and resolve, Richard Hwang has worked tirelessly to increase his knowledge and skills. Through his remarkable efforts, he has set an example worthy of emulation, and he is certainly deserving of high praise. By his decisive leadership, he has distinguished himself as a conscientious and responsible student, and we are certain that he will continue to display the same unwavering dedication to excellence for which he has become known; and |
WHEREAS, Richard Hwang has amply demonstrated his ability to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence, and he has shown an exceptional willingness to strive to attain superior results. The initiative, devotion, and hard work he has exhibited in every endeavor will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Richard Hwang for outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
