| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Coldwater High School girls bowling team on winning the 2013 State Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young bowlers, the members of the Coldwater High School girls bowling team have combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship to establish themselves as a truly exceptional squad. With admirable dedication, the Cavaliers have worked diligently toward attaining ultimate proficiency in their sport, and as a result, they defeated a tough Hubbard team to win this year's State Championship, their second consecutive title; and |
| WHEREAS, The achievements and leadership of the Cavaliers are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on them, their families, their school, their community, and their coach, Rick Hartings. The success of any competitive endeavor depends largely on the ability of the coach to provide both guidance and inspiration, and in leading his team to victory, Coach Hartings has not only helped each player to develop her talents to the fullest, but he has also instilled in each a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, camaraderie, and school spirit; and |
| WHEREAS, With competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay tribute to these fine youths and their outstanding coach for a job well done. The maturity and experience the team members have gained through participation in bowling will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, honor the Coldwater High School girls bowling team on its tremendous 2013 season and salute the members and coach as some of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Coldwater High School girls bowling team. |
