A RESOLUTION

Honoring Kyle Conel on winning a 2014 Division I State Wrestling Championship.

       WHEREAS,  The members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Kyle Conel as the 2014 Division I State Wrestling Champion in the 195-pound weight class; and

       WHEREAS,  A senior member of the Lakeside High School wrestling team, Kyle Conel is deserving of recognition for his exemplary accomplishments in his sport. An exceptional athlete, he won this year's Division I State Championship in his weight class and finished the season with an impressive 53-0 mark, and his noteworthy record of personal achievement stands as a hallmark for others to emulate; and 

       WHEREAS,  Through his participation in wrestling, Kyle Conel has learned important lessons of discipline, perseverance, hard work, and good sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to him throughout his life. Through his outstanding efforts, he has inspired countless individuals to excel in various areas of endeavor, and he has gained many admirers; and

       WHEREAS,  In a society that seeks to teach the future leaders of our state and nation the fundamentals of self-reliance and the rewards of individual effort, athletic competition has become a valuable educational tool. We are extremely pleased to honor such a fine athlete as Kyle Conel; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Kyle Conel on winning a 2014 Division I State Wrestling Championship and extend best wishes for continued success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kyle Conel.
