BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 2305.2310 of the Revised Code be | 5 |
enacted to read as follows: | 6 |
Sec. 2305.2310. A person who is a registered member of the | 7 |
national ski patrol system, as described in 36 U.S.C. 152702, is | 8 |
not liable in civil damages for administering emergency care or | 9 |
treatment at the scene of an emergency while on duty as a member | 10 |
of the system, or for acts performed at the scene of the | 11 |
emergency, unless the person's actions constitute willful or | 12 |
wanton misconduct. | 13 |
This section applies to a person who is a registered member | 14 |
of the national ski patrol system regardless of whether the person | 15 |
serves as a volunteer or paid member of the system. | 16 |
