A BILL

To enact section 755.021 of the Revised Code to

authorize the dissolution of a municipal board of

park commissioners.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 755.021 of the Revised Code be	4
enacted to read as follows:	5

Sec. 755.021. The legislative authority of a municipal	6
corporation may vote to dissolve its board of park commissioners	7
and may adopt an ordinance to transfer the responsibility for the	8
continued operation and maintenance of municipal parks to the	9
director of public service. Upon adoption of the ordinance, the	10
board of park commissioners ceases to exist.	11
