Summary

To amend sections 2305.33, 2317.02, and 4731.22 and to enact section 2305.331 of the Revised Code to grant civil immunity to physicians who report a patient's use of a drug of abuse or other condition not involving such use to specified persons or entities, to exclude the making of those reports from the grounds for disciplinary action against physicians, and to apply the civil immunity of physicians who report to an employer in the business of public transportation an employee's use of a drug of abuse or other condition not involving such use to any violation of a patient's privacy rights.
