        Introduced  by  Sen.  RAMOS  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Labor

        AN ACT to amend the labor  law,  in  relation  to  redefining  the  term
          "covered renewable energy system"

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 224-d of the labor law,  as  added
     2  by section 2 of part AA of chapter 56 of the laws of 2021, is amended to
     3  read as follows:
     4    1.  For  purposes of this section, a "covered renewable energy system"
     5  means a renewable energy system, as such  term  is  defined  in  section
     6  sixty-six-p  of the public service law, with a capacity of [greater than
     7  five megawatts] one or more  megawatts  alternating  current  and  which
     8  involves the procurement of renewable energy credits by a public entity,
     9  or  a third party acting on behalf and for the benefit of a public enti-
    10  ty.
    11    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
