       Introduced  by Sen. STOROBIN -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
       AN ACT to repeal chapter 95  of  the  laws  of  2011,  constituting  the
         Marriage  Equality  Act, and to repeal chapter 96 of the laws of 2011,
         amending the domestic relations law relating to the ability to marry
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Chapter 95 of the laws of 2011, constituting the Marriage
    2  Equality Act is REPEALED.
    3    S 2. Chapter 96 of the laws of 2011, amending the  domestic  relations
    4  law relating to the ability to marry is REPEALED.
    5    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.
