STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 7219 IN SENATE January 10, 2020 ___________ Introduced by Sen. BORRELLO -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes AN ACT to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation to designating uniformed court officers in the town of Busti, county of Chautauqua, as peace officers The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Section 2.10 of the criminal procedure law is amended by 2 adding a new subdivision 86 to read as follows: 3 86. Employees of the town of Busti, in the county of Chautauqua, serv- 4 ing as uniformed court officers in the justice court of such town; 5 provided, however, that nothing in this subdivision shall be deemed to 6 authorize such employees to carry, possess, repair or dispose of a 7 firearm unless the appropriate license therefor has been issued pursuant 8 to section 400.00 of the penal law. 9 § 2.
