          printed to be committed to the Committee on Higher Education

        AN ACT to repeal paragraph (d) of subdivision 1 of section 7704  of  the
          education  law requiring applicants to pass an examination in order to
          qualify as a licensed master social worker

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Paragraph  (d)  of  subdivision  1 of section 7704 of the
     2  education law is REPEALED.
     3    § 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
