       AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to hunt-
         ing in the county of Madison
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
    2  of the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 12 of chap-
    3  ter 483 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows:
    4  (i) The counties of       Deer and bear, the      Pistol, shotgun,
    5    Allegany,               first Monday after      crossbow,
    6    Cattaraugus,            November 15 through     muzzle loading
    7    Chenango, Herkimer,     first Tuesday after     firearm, rifle or
    8    MADISON,                December 7              long bow only
    9    Montgomery, Oneida,
   10    Oswego, Otsego,
   11    Schoharie and
   12    Tioga
   13    and that portion of
   14    the county of
   15    Broome east of the
   16    Susquehanna river
   17  S 2. Item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of  the
   18  environmental  conservation  law, as added by chapter 600 of the laws of
   19  2005, is amended to read as follows:
   20  (i) The counties of       Deer and bear, the      Pistol, shotgun,

   13  S  3.  This  act  shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that
   14  section one of this act shall take effect on the same date as section 12
   15  of chapter 483 of the laws of 2010 takes effect and shall be subject  to
   16  the  repeal  of such section 12 pursuant to section 17 of chapter 483 of
   17  the laws of 2010; and provided further that  section  two  of  this  act
   18  shall  take  effect  on the same date as the reversion of paragraph a of
   19  subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation  law,
   20  as  provided  in  section  13  of  chapter  600  of the laws of 1993, as
   21  amended, or section 17 of chapter 483 of the laws of 2010,  as  amended,
   22  whichever is later.
