       Introduced  by  Sens.  MARCELLINO,  JOHNSON,  GRISANTI -- read twice and
         ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee  on
         Environmental Conservation
       AN  ACT  to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the
         management of blueback herring
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Paragraph  g of subdivision 1 of section 13-0339-a of the
    2  environmental conservation law, as amended by a chapter of the  laws  of
    3  2011  entitled,  "AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in
    4  relation to the management of Atlantic  cod",  is  amended  to  read  as
    5  follows:
    6    g.    blueback herring (Alosa aestivalis) until December thirty-first,
    7  two thousand [eleven] FIFTEEN,
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect on the same date as a chapter  of  the
    9  laws  of  2011 entitled, "AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation
   10  law, in relation to the management of Atlantic cod", takes effect.
        EXPLANATION--Matter in ITALICS (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.
