LEIBELL -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government AN ACT to amend the real property tax law, in relation to authorizing firefighters and ambulance workers who reside in one town but volun- teer their services in another town to take advantage of certain real property tax exemptions THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Paragraph (a) of subdivision 2 of section 466-c of the real 2 property tax law, as added by chapter 428 of the laws of 2002, is 3 amended to read as follows: 4 (a) the applicant resides in [the] A city, town, village or school 5 district WITHIN THE COUNTY which is served by such incorporated volun- 6 teer fire company or fire department or incorporated voluntary ambulance 7 service; 8 S 2.
