       Introduced  by  Sen.  LANZA  -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Civil Service and Pensions
       AN ACT to repeal paragraph (b) of subdivision 2 of section 75-b  of  the
         civil service law, in relation to enacting the "public employee whist-
         leblower protection act"
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Short title. This act shall be known and may  be  cited  as
    2  the "public employee whistleblower protection act".
    3    S  2.  Paragraph  (b)  of  subdivision  2 of section 75-b of the civil
    4  service law is REPEALED.
    5    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
