        Introduced  by  Sen.  RIVERA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Health

        AN ACT to amend the public health  law,  in  relation  to  reimbursement
          rates for certain services

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Clause (C) of subparagraph (ii) of paragraph (f) of  subdi-
     2  vision  2-a  of  section  2807  of  the public health law, as amended by
     3  section 43 of part B of chapter 58 of the laws of 2010,  is  amended  to
     4  read as follows:
     5    (C)  individual  psychotherapy  services  provided  by licensed social
     6  workers, in accordance with licensing criteria set forth  in  applicable
     7  regulations[,  to  persons  under  the  age of twenty-one and to persons
     8  requiring such services as a result of or related to pregnancy or giving
     9  birth]; and
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of January next  succeed-
    11  ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
