       Introduced  by  Sen.  KRUGER -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
         printed to be committed to the Committee on Transportation
       AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation  to  prohibiting
         the imposition of a toll on intra-borough bridges
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 553 of the public authorities  law  is  amended  by
    2  adding a new subdivision 12-a to read as follows:
    3    12-A.  NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISION OF LAW, THE AUTHORITY SHALL
    4  NOT IMPOSE A TOLL OR FEE FOR THE USE OF ANY INTRA-BOROUGH BRIDGE.
    5    S 2. This act shall take effect on the sixtieth  day  after  it  shall
    6  have become a law.
