        Introduced  by  Sen.  AVELLA -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Cities
        AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the  city  of  New  York,  in
          relation  to the tolling of bridges controlled or operated by the city
          of New York
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Title 19 of the administrative code of the city of New York
     2  is amended by adding a new chapter 9 to read as follows:
     3                                  CHAPTER 9
     4                                   BRIDGES
     5    § 19-901 Tolls. No tolls or other charges shall be imposed for vehicu-
     6  lar  or pedestrian traffic for the use of any bridge controlled or oper-
     7  ated by the city.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
