        Introduced  by  Sens.  CROCI, AKSHAR, GALLIVAN, HANNON -- read twice and
          ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee  on
          Health  --  committee  discharged,  bill amended, ordered reprinted as
          amended and recommitted to said committee
        AN ACT to amend the  public  health  law,  in  relation  to  designating
          certain substances as schedule I opiates
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Subdivision (b) of schedule I of section 3306 of the public
     2  health law is amended by adding three new paragraphs 56, 57, and  58  to
     3  read as follows:
     4    (56) N-(1-phenethylpiperidin-4-yl)-N-phenylacetamide (Acetyl Fentan-
     5  yl).
     6    (57) N-(1-phenethylpiperidin-4-yl)-N-phenylbutyramide (Butyryl Fenta-
     7  nyl).
     8    (58) N-{1-{2-hydroxy-2-(thiophen-2-yl)ethyl}piperidin-4-yl}-N-phenyl-
     9  propionamide(Beta-Hyolroxythiofentanyl).
    10    §  2.  This  act shall take effect on the ninetieth day after it shall
    11  have become a law.
