       AN ACT to amend chapter 268 of the laws of 1989 amending the vehicle and
         traffic law relating to providing for payment of fees and other charg-
         es by credit card, in relation to the effectiveness of such provisions
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1.  Section 2 of chapter 268 of the laws of 1989 amending the
    2  vehicle and traffic law relating to providing for payment  of  fees  and
    3  other  charges  by credit card, as amended by chapter 145 of the laws of
    4  2006, is amended to read as follows:
    5    S 2. This act shall take effect  immediately  and  the  provisions  of
    6  section 202-a of the vehicle and traffic law, as added by section one of
    7  this act, shall be repealed on July 7, [2010] 2014.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
