JORDAN -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to authorize the commissioner of general services to transfer and convey certain unappropriated state land to the Hoosick Area Youth Center Community Coalition for community programs THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Subject to the provisions of this act but notwithstanding 2 any other provision of law to the contrary, the commissioner of general 3 services is hereby authorized to transfer and convey to the Hoosick Area 4 Youth Center Community Coalition the state land located at 80 Church 5 Street, village of Hoosick Falls, in the county of Rensselaer, known as 6 the Hoosick Falls Armory, declared to be abandoned state land by the 7 division of military and naval affairs. The transfer and conveyance of 8 the land shall be made at such time and upon such terms and conditions 9 as the commissioner of general services may fix and determine. 10 S 2. As a condition of the transfer, Hoosick Area Youth Center Commu- 11 nity Coalition may submit to the commissioner of general services, for 12 his or her approval, an accurate survey and description of the lands to 13 be conveyed, which may be used in the conveyance thereof. 14 S 3. The office of general services shall not transfer or convey the 15 aforesaid land unless application is made to the office of general 16 services by the Hoosick Area Youth Center Community Coalition within 1 17 year after the effective date of this act. Said application shall be in 18 the form of a resolution setting forth a comprehensive statement 19 approved by its managing board acknowledging and accepting any condi- 20 tions, use restrictions and/or reversions pertaining to the land. 21 S 4.
