       AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter 549 of the laws of 2005 amending the tax law
         relating to authorizing the county of  Herkimer  to  impose  a  county
         recording tax on obligation secured by a mortgage on real property, in
         relation to the expiration thereof
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 549 of the laws of 2005  amending  the
    2  tax  law,  relating  to  authorizing  the county of Herkimer to impose a
    3  county recording tax on obligation secured by a mortgage on real proper-
    4  ty, as amended by chapter 542 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as
    5  follows:
    6    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately and shall  expire  and  be
    7  deemed repealed on December 1, [2012] 2014.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.

                             [ ] is old law to be omitted.
