       AN  ACT to legalize, validate, ratify and confirm certain transportation
         contracts of the Friendship central school district
         THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND  ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section  1. All the acts done and proceedings heretofore had and taken
    2  or caused to be had and taken by the Friendship central school  district
    3  and  by all officers, employees or agents of such school district relat-
    4  ing to or in connection with  certain  transportation  contract  numbers
    5  C412212,  C412213,  C412214  for  the 2010-2011 school year with Carrier
    6  Coach, and all acts incidental thereto are hereby legalized,  validated,
    7  ratified  and  confirmed, notwithstanding any failure to comply with the
    8  contract award, approvals and filing provisions of  the  education  law,
    9  the  general  municipal  law  or  any  other  law or any other statutory
   10  authority, rule  or  regulation,  other  than  those  filing  provisions
   11  defined in paragraph a of subdivision 5 of section 3604 of the education
   12  law,  in  relation to any omission, error, defect, irregularity or ille-
   13  gality in such proceeding had and taken.
   14    S 2. The education department  is  hereby  directed  to  consider  the
   15  aforementioned  contracts  for  transportation  aid  as valid and proper
   16  obligations of the Friendship central school district.
   17    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
