        AN ACT in relation to  authorizing  Paul  Nehrich  to  be  considered  a
          "veteran" for real property taxation purposes
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
     1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
     2  Paul Nehrich, of Freeport, New York, shall be considered a "veteran" for
     3  the purposes of paragraph (e) of subdivision 1 of section 458-a  of  the
     4  real property tax law.
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
