AN ACT to amend the social services law, in relation to child care
resource and referral program services
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
1 Section 1. Paragraph (c) of subdivision 1 of section 410-q of the
2 social services law, as added by chapter 441 of the laws of 1993, is
3 amended to read as follows:
4 (c) Services directed at maintaining and providing information and
5 resources on early childhood training and other relevant programs for
6 prospective and current providers, INCLUDING EDUCATING CHILD CARE
7 PROVIDERS NOT REQUIRING A LICENSE OR REGISTRATION PURSUANT TO SECTION
8 THREE HUNDRED NINETY OF THIS ARTICLE WITH INFORMATION ON AVAILABLE
9 TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE TIME OF ENROLLMENT AND RE-ENROLLMENT;
10 S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
