       AN ACT to amend chapter 25 of the laws of 2009, amending the tax law and
         the administrative code of the city of New York relating to the metro-
         politan commuter transportation mobility tax, in relation to providing
         for the repeal of certain provisions thereof
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Subdivisions (d) and (e) of section 23 of part C of chapter
    2  25 of the laws 2009, amending the tax law and the administrative code of
    3  the city of New York relating to the metropolitan  commuter  transporta-
    4  tion  mobility  tax,  are  amended and a new subdivision (f) is added to
    5  read as follows:
    6    (d) the amendments to subsection 4 of section 618 of the tax law  made
    7  by  section  nine of this act shall survive the expiration and reversion
    8  of such subsection as provided in section 8 of chapter 782 of  the  laws
    9  of 1988, as amended; [and]
   10    (e) the amendments to subdivision 4 of section 11-1718 of the adminis-
   11  trative  code of the city of New York made by section twenty-two of this
   12  act shall survive the expiration and reversion of  such  subdivision  as
   13  provided in section 8 of chapter 782 of the laws of 1988, as amended[.];
   14  AND
   15    (F)  THE  PROVISIONS  OF  SECTIONS  ONE THROUGH EIGHT, TEN, ELEVEN AND
   16  THIRTEEN THROUGH TWENTY-ONE OF THIS  ACT  SHALL  EXPIRE  AND  BE  DEEMED
   17  REPEALED JANUARY 1, 2017.
   18    S  2.  Section 3 of part D of chapter 25 of the laws of 2009, amending
   19  the tax law and the administrative code of the city of New York relating

    2  read as follows:
    3    S  3. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009, AND SHALL EXPIRE AND BE
    4  DEEMED REPEALED APRIL 1, 2017.
    5    S 3. This act shall take effect immediately.
