ENGLEBRIGHT -- read once and referred to the Committee on Governmental Operations AN ACT to amend the executive law, in relation to requiring an attorney with a concentration in elder law to participate in determinations of claims before the office of victim services THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM- BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS: 1 Section 1. Subdivision 1 of section 627 of the executive law is 2 amended by adding a new paragraph (d-1) to read as follows: 3 (D-1) THE ACTIVE PARTICIPATION OF AN ATTORNEY, ADMITTED TO PRACTICE 4 LAW IN THIS STATE WITH A CONCENTRATION IN ELDER LAW FOR NOT LESS THAN 5 FIVE YEARS, IN THE DETERMINATION OF ALL CLAIMS; 6 S 2.
