        Introduced  by  M.  of  A. L. ROSENTHAL -- read once and referred to the
          Committee on Social Services

        AN ACT to amend the social services law, in relation to requiring social
          service's applications to be made available online

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1. Paragraph (c) of subdivision 2 of section 20 of the social
     2  services law, as amended by chapter 200 of the laws of 1946, is  amended
     3  and a new paragraph (d) is added to read as follows:
     4    (c)  distribute,  reimburse  and  grant  as  herein provided the funds
     5  appropriated by the legislature for such  participation  and  also  such
     6  funds as may be received from the federal government for such purpose or
     7  purposes[.]; and
     8    (d)  make  publicly  available  online on the department's website any
     9  application required pursuant to a provision of this chapter.
    10    § 2.  This act shall take effect immediately.
