       AN ACT in relation to the dissolution of the Wadsworth Library  and  the
         redistribution of any funds and/or assets held by such library
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1.  The  Wadsworth  Library  and  its  incorporated  trustees,
    2  created  by  chapter 262 of the laws of 1869 is hereby dissolved and all
    3  assets, holdings, and belongings owned in whole or in part by the  Wads-
    4  worth  Library  shall  be transferred to the Wadsworth Library, a public
    5  school district library established by vote  on  October  23,  2007  and
    6  granted  an absolute charter in the first instance by the New York State
    7  Board of Regents on September 16, 2008.
    8    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
