STATE OF NEW YORK ________________________________________________________________________ 3787 2019-2020 Regular Sessions IN ASSEMBLY January 31, 2019 ___________ Introduced by M. of A. ROZIC -- read once and referred to the Committee on Cities AN ACT to amend the general business law, in relation to enacting the "lawn litter law act" The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. This act shall be known and may be cited as the "lawn 2 litter law act". 3 § 2. Subdivision 3 of section 397-a of the general business law, as 4 amended by chapter 3 of the laws of 2008, is amended to read as follows: 5 3. There shall be a rebuttable presumption that the person whose name, 6 telephone number, or other identifying information appears on any unso- 7 licited advertising materials described in subdivision one of this 8 section [and placed at two or more premises] shall be liable for any 9 violations of this section. 10 § 3.
