        AN  ACT to amend the workers' compensation law, in relation to providing
          compensation for the loss of a fetus

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Subdivision 3 of section 15 of the workers compensation law
     2  is amended by adding a new paragraph (m-1) to read as follows:
     3    (m-1)  Loss  of a fetus. Compensation for the loss of a fetus shall be
     4  for three hundred twelve weeks.
     5    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
