       AN ACT to provide an apportionment to the Yonkers city  school  district
         based upon universal prekindergarten enrollment
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary,
    2  effective July 1, 2011, there shall be  an  apportionment  made  to  the
    3  Yonkers  city  school  district,  and such apportionment shall be for an
    4  amount equivalent to the base year total  of  universal  prekindergarten
    5  pupils served multiplied by the value calculated by subtracting from the
    6  selected  foundation  aid per pupil, the quotient calculated by dividing
    7  the base year universal prekindergarten grant by the base year total  of
    8  universal prekindergarten pupils.
    9    S 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
