       AN ACT to amend the administrative code of the  city  of  New  York,  in
         relation to an erroneously issued parking violation summons
         THE  PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK, REPRESENTED IN SENATE AND ASSEM-
       BLY, DO ENACT AS FOLLOWS:
    1    Section 1. Section 19-207 of the administrative code of  the  city  of
    2  New York is amended by adding a new subdivision c to read as follows:
    3    C.  WHERE  THE  HEARING  OFFICER  DETERMINES  THAT A PARKING VIOLATION
    4  SUMMONS WAS ERRONEOUSLY ISSUED DUE TO NO FAULT OF THE  PERSON  RECEIVING
    5  SUCH  SUMMONS  AND  IS  DISMISSED BECAUSE THE DRIVER DID NOT VIOLATE ANY
    6  LAW, THE COURT SHALL ISSUE A ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR PAYMENT  TO  THE  PERSON
    7  WHO WAS ISSUED THE TICKET.
    8    S  2.  This  act  shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it shall
    9  have become a law.
