          referred to the Committee on Housing  --  committee  discharged,  bill
          amended,  ordered reprinted as amended and recommitted to said commit-
          tee

        AN ACT to amend the public housing law, in  relation  to  requiring  the
          division  of  housing  and  community  renewal to establish a publicly
          accessible online database of building-wide major capital improvements

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  The public housing law is amended by adding a new section
     2  19-b to read as follows:
     3    § 19-b. Major capital improvement  database.  The  commissioner  shall
     4  publish  on the division website a database of building-wide major capi-
     5  tal improvements pursuant to the  emergency  tenant  protection  act  of
     6  nineteen  seventy-four,  the  rent  stabilization law of nineteen sixty-
     7  nine, the emergency housing rent control law, and  the  local  emergency
     8  housing  rent control act installed by any landlord in every city with a
     9  population of more than one million  inhabitants.  Such  database  shall
    10  include,  but  not  be  limited  to, an entry that describes the item or
    11  repair, including:
    12    1. the cost;
    13    2. make and model;
    14    3. where the item was purchased;
    15    4. the name of company or individual conducting the installation; and
    16    5. the installation cost.
    17    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
