A Supplement to "An Act making appropriations for the support of the State Government and the several public purposes for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2006 and regulating the disbursement thereof," approved July 2, 2005 (P.L.2005, c.132).
Be It Enacted by the Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey:
1. In addition to the amounts appropriated under P.L.2005, c.132, there is appropriated out of the General Fund the following sum for the purpose specified:

2. This act shall take effect immediately.
STATEMENT
The Office on Women's Health was established in 2001 pursuant to N.J.S.A.26:1A-123 et seq. The responsibilities of the office include: heightening awareness of women's health issues Statewide; developing private and public partnerships to improve access to public health services; advocating for the development of effective programs to improve women's health; providing information and resources about women's health services; and coordinating with existing programs that provide women's health services.
Although the office has met many of its statutorily prescribed responsibilities, it has received no State funding since its inception. Consequently, it is supported entirely through federal funds.
