STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Five

 

AN ACT requiring an unorganized town or unincorporated place to elect town officers for the purpose of conducting elections.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Paragraph; Towns, Cities, Village Districts, and Unincorporated Places; Powers.  Amend RSA 53:1 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

III.  An unorganized town or unincorporated place with a voter checklist of 100 or more voters shall elect officers for the purposes of conducting local, county, state and federal elections consistent with the provisions of this chapter.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
