METHODOLOGY:
This bill requires the Department of Transportation to address safety concerns at a certain intersection in Ossipee, with funding provided by the state highway safety program. It is assumed this is in reference to the Office of Highway Safety within the Department of Safety (OHS). The OHS passes through federal funds from the National Traffic Safety Administration and the requirement of this bill is not an allowable use of program funds, therefore the OHS would not be able to distribute funds to the Department of Transportation for the purpose of this bill.
