STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nineteen

 

AN ACT requiring parity in the spend-down requirements for mental health and medical expenses.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Parity for Mental Health and Medical Expenses Required.  Amend RSA 167 by inserting after section 4-d the following new section:

167:4-e  Parity for Mental Health and Medical Expenses Required.  The spend-down requirements for clients eligible for services under this chapter shall be the same for mental health services and medical expenses.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
