STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen

AN ACT relative to recovering moneys from a neighboring state for mitigation of flooding.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

155:1 Recovery of Flood Moneys. The attorney general is hereby urged to expedite the pursuit of the arrearages owed to New Hampshire by Massachusetts for mitigation of flooding as part of the 1953 and 1957 interstate compacts. The attorney general shall make quarterly reports to the speaker of the house of representatives, the president of the senate, and the governor commencing on November�1, 2013 regarding its efforts to collect the moneys owed.

155:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
