STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen

AN ACT relative to duties of inspectors of election.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Inspectors of Election; Duties. Amend RSA 658 by inserting after section 3 the following new section:

658:3-a Duties. An inspector of election shall serve as ballot clerk, if designated by the moderator pursuant to RSA 658:25, or shall perform such duties in the polling place as are assigned to him or her by the moderator, including, but not limited to, the relief of the ballot clerks and the assistance of voters marking their ballots as provided in RSA 659:20. Inspectors of election shall be present for the sealing of the ballot box in accordance with RSA 659:62.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
